Emily Roehr is the Manager of Finance at Lindsay Goldberg LLC, a private equity firm focused on leveraged buyout and growth capital investments in middle-market companies in industries such as industrials, servicing, healthcare, and consumer products. Ms. Roehr joined the firm in December 2020 and has focused on rethinking and improving traditional workflows and methods with advanced modeling, standardization, and automation. As part of the Finance and Operations departments, she routinely creates master financial datasets, models, management reports and presentations for Firm senior management to assist with strategic decision making and planning. She worked as the project lead for implementation of a new portfolio monitoring database system to improve quarterly reporting and evaluation of the Fund’s portfolio companies which was launched in September 2021 and is now going through beta testing of the monthly data collection processes. She is also responsible for overseeing all returns calculations and maintenance of asset, fund, and Firm level track record databases and is part of the oversight team for the quarterly valuations process of the Firm’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Lindsay Goldberg, Ms. Roehr spent four years working as a Financial Analyst for Mesa West Capital LLC, a private commercial real estate portfolio lender that was acquired by Morgan Stanley in March 2018. At Mesa West, she primarily focused on decision support analytics through financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
Ms. Roehr graduated from Cornell University in 2016 with a B.S. in Operations Research and Information Engineering and The Dyson Business Minor for Engineers. She has previously sat on the Board of the Cornell Club of Los Angeles and is currently the Young Alumni Representative to the CAAAN Advisory Committee (C’AC) that works alongside the Undergraduate Admissions Office to help develop CAAAN policies and procedures, advise on communications, training ,and organization, and provide hands-on volunteer skill to advance CAAAN objectives. She is also currently serving as the Co-chair of the NY-27 CAAAN Committee.
